I am trying to learn all that I can on these old sewing machines,I like them so much better than the new ones but I don't know how to fix some things. Thank you if you have any ideas for me.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10746855302474019724noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5081648599690710857.post-13321249721367079872019-09-27T17:10:22.120-05:002019-09-27T17:10:22.120-05:00Hi, Not sure if this is too late to help, but chec...Hi, Not sure if this is too late to help, but check out this link from "My Sewing Machine Obsession. It outlines how to remove the pressure bar. If are positive you have loosened / removed all the screws and bit holding it in and it still won't budge, look for rust or anything else that might be locking it in place. Try some liquid wrench, let it soak and see what happens. Good Luck!<Amy https://www.blogger.com/profile/17974676489042581874noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5081648599690710857.post-63219925721762838152019-08-12T03:27:32.141-05:002019-08-12T03:27:32.141-05:00pressure bar and spring...I can't get it out. ...pressure bar and spring...I can't get it out. the bobbin casing and bars at bottomcare already out...any ideas, can you help?Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01100560264877610178noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5081648599690710857.post-72070255348971545822016-06-28T06:52:41.447-05:002016-06-28T06:52:41.447-05:00I used Brasso metal polish.I used Brasso metal polish.Amy https://www.blogger.com/profile/17974676489042581874noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5081648599690710857.post-79564018704706748712016-06-27T23:05:29.929-05:002016-06-27T23:05:29.929-05:00I know this is an older post but I'm hoping yo...I know this is an older post but I'm hoping you remember what type of metal polish you used on the faceplate? You're right about it being stored in less than perfect conditions. Granny kept this machine in a small room on the top floor of her house. Bats used to get into this room frequently, so obviously it wasn't well ventilated. You have done a phenomenal JKG3124https://www.blogger.com/profile/17283374193029007710noreply@blogger.com
